Based in Monto, Katie has been with the Association since 2007 and has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science –Rural Technology from the University of Queensland, Gatton. Katie oversees the overall, day-to-day operation of the organisation including contract management and reporting as well as assisting in the field with Sustainable Agriculture programs.

Extension Officer – Leeanne Witcher
Leeanne is also based in Monto, and has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science – Animal Science, from the University of Queensland. She has been with BCCA since 2009. Leeanne spends the majority of her time project managing the Reef Rescue Grazing projects including assisting landholders with project applications and implementation as well as performing pasture monitoring and organising training events.

Extension Officer – Louise Newman
Louise has been with BCCA since 2007 and works out of the Mundubbera office. She has a background in natural systems and wildlife management after undertaking a Bachelor of Environmental Management at the University of Queensland, Gatton. Louise is involved in the implementation of the Healthy Habitats project for the inland Burnett and offers landholders technical support for project applications and implementation as well as organising training events.

Extension Officer – Fiona Morris
Fiona started with BCCA in April 2011 in the Mundubbera office. Fiona has an Environmental Science honours degree from the University of Queensland with a focus on ecology and soil science. Fiona is the project coordinator for the Sustainable Practices project which involves assisting landholders with project applications and implementation as well as developing property management plans and organising training events.

Administration Officer – Melinda Myles
Melinda joined Katie and Leeanne in BCCA’s head office in Monto on a part time basis in August 2011. Melinda lives on a property north of Monto with her husband and two kids. Melinda provides administration support to the rest of the team as well as acting as the Association’s secretary and assisting the treasurer with the Associations financial operations.
